Preliminary Procedure

1. Remove Transmission Control. Refer to Transmission Control Replacement
2. Remove Transmission Control Bracket. Refer to Transmission Control Bracket Replacement
3. Remove Front Floor Console Rear Air Duct. Refer to Front Floor Console Rear Air Duct Replacement (Front)Front Floor Console Rear Air Duct Replacement (Rear)Front Floor Console Rear Air Duct Replacement (CJ4 Rear)
4. Remove the body wiring harness retainer from the sensor bolt.

Procedure

1. Disconnect the electrical connector.
2. Refer to Control Module References for programming and setup information, if required.
