Initialization/Teach Procedure For an Existing Drive Assembly:

"Teach" refers to the sunroof system's learning a baseline profile for the system. This is almost always done following an initialization.

1. Use the CLOSE switch (do NOT use 'express' close) to fully close the sun roof. Release the switch.
2. Press and hold the CLOSE switch (for approximately ten (10) seconds) until the sunroof moves slightly past Full Vent (2mm) and suddenly back to Full Vent.
3. Quickly release the CLOSE switch and re-press and hold it (within 1.0 second) while the sun roof moves to Full Open and back to closed (the roof should start to move within about 4 seconds).
4. Release the switch and verify successful initialization by performing one-touch open and close operations.
