Remove wiper fuse from fuse block and connect an ammeter across fuse block terminals. Operate wipers in high speed with windshield dry. If current draw is below 5 amps, replace brush holder assembly. If current draw is higher than 5 amps, replace wiper blades, check linkage for binding or sticking, and repair wiper motor if necessary.
