Barometric Pressure Sensor: Description and Operation

Sensor--normally used in combination with the MAP sensor--sends a varying voltage to the ECM representing barometric pressure--typically 3.0 to 4.5 volts.
- Voltage increases as altitude increases--barometric pressure decreases.
