Shift Control Cable Adjust

1. Position steering column shift lever in neutral gate notch, then loosen attaching nut 2 at column lever, see image.

2. Set transmission lever in neutral detent, then move pin 1 to give "free pin" fit in column lever and torque attaching nut two to 20 ft. lbs.

3. Check that starter will not crank in any position except Neutral or Park Adjust neutral start switch, if necessary.
