Remove 5 cover-to-meter body screws and lock washers. Lift off fuel meter cover with fuel pressure regulator assembly (rear unit) or accumulator assembly (front unit) attached. DO NOT
remove fuel meter cover gasket at this time. See Figure

WARNING:
DO NOT
remove 4 screws attaching pressure regulator (accumulator) to fuel meter cover. The regulator (accumulator) includes a spring under heavy tension which may cause personal injury if released. Fuel meter cover and pressure regulator (accumulator) are serviced as an assembly only. DO NOT
immerse assembly in any type of cleaning solvent.
