Throttle Body Injector
NOTE:
Use care in removing injector to prevent damage to electrical connectors, fuel filter and nozzle. Injector is serviced only as unit.
- Remove throttle body cover and leave cover gasket in place. Using screwdriver and fulcrum, carefully pry injector out. Remove small "O" ring from nozzle end of injector. See Fig 1 .
- Carefully rotate injector fuel filter back and forth to remove fuel filter from base of injector. Remove and discard throttle body cover gasket. Remove large "O" ring and steel back-up washer from top counterbore of throttle body injector cavity.
