Idle Speed Control (ISC)

The ISC system consists of the ISC motor, throttle switch, and the ECM. The ISC motor is an electrically driven actuator which changes throttle valve angle, in idle position, according to commands from the ECM. This function is by-passed when throttle is opened enough to bring the TPS off its idle circuit. The ISC motor is located on side of throttle body.
