Test B: Rap Relay 1

TEST B: RAP RELAY 1

Condition Connect Between (1) Correct Result
Connect Test Lamp At RAP Relay 1, Disconnected 5 (RED/YEL) & Ground (2) Test Lamp Lights
Connect Test Lamp At RAP RELAY 1, Disconnected 4 (RED) & Ground (3) Test Lamp Lights
(1) If results are correct, go to B: RAP RELAY 1 TABLE 2 
(2) If result is incorrect, check RED/YEL (840) wire for an open.
(3) If result is incorrect, check RED (2) wire for an open or short to ground.
TEST B: RAP RELAY 1

Condition Connect Between Correct Result (1) BCM Display
Connect Test Lamp At RAP RELAY 1, Disconnected & Select BCM Output BO03 5 (RED/YEL) & 2 (BLK/WHT) Test Lamp Lights (2) LO
Connect Test Lamp At RAP RELAY 1, Disconnected & Select BCM Output BO03 5 (RED/YEL) & 2 (BLK/WHT) Test Lamp Does Not Light (2) HI
(1) If the BCM display does not cycle from LO to HI, replace the BCM.
(2) If test lamp lights as shown, check RED/BLK (70) and RED/WHT (76) wires for an open or short to ground. Also check circuit breaker No. 21. If OK, replace RAP relay 1. If test lamp does not light as shown, check/repair BLK/WHT (707) wire for an open or short to ground.
