Note On Intermittents

If an intermittent TPS condition cannot be induced, manipulate TPS and PCM connector and wiring while observing PCM data ED01. Check TPS and TPS jumper connectors for open or shorts. Cycle TPS through its travel and lightly tap on TPS while watching display to test for intermittent. If a fault is induced, PCM data ED01 will momentarily skip to 72 degrees or greater or 1.3 degrees or less. If wiring or connector are okay, substitute a known good TPS, and recheck.
