Module Unlock Test No. 2

  1. Disconnect keyless entry module connector and lock left door. Connect voltmeter between connector terminals D1 (Orange wire) and C16 (Tan wire). If left door does not unlock, check left door lock motor wiring and components.
  2. If left door unlocks, check voltage between connector terminals D1 (Orange wire) and C1 (Black wire). If solenoid does not operate and latch does not open, check trunk lid release solenoid.
  3. If solenoid does operate and latch opens, lock right door. Check voltage between terminals D1 (Orange wire) and C2 (Black wire). If right door does not unlock, check Black wire from terminal C2 of keyless entry module to door lock relay. If wiring and relay are okay, check right door lock motor.
