Power & Ground Test

  1. Disconnect keyless entry module connector. Turn ignition off. Using a voltmeter, measure voltage between connector terminal D2 (Orange wire) and ground. If battery voltage is not present, check for open circuit in Orange wire.
  2. If battery voltage is present, use a voltmeter and measure voltage between connector terminals D2 (Orange wire) and D16 (Black/White wire). If battery voltage is not present, check for open circuit in Black/White wire.
  3. If battery voltage is present, turn ignition switch to RUN position. Check voltage between connector terminals C14 (Pink/Black wire) and ground. If battery voltage is not present, check for open circuit in Pink/Black wire. If battery voltage is present, replace and program keyless entry module.
