Pcm Code E017, Left Oxygen (O2) Sensor Not Ready: Action

PCM turns on SERVICE ENGINE SOON light and "closed loop" is disabled.

NOTE: Test numbers refer to numbers on diagnostic chart.

A voltage of .42-.48 displayed is a reference voltage from PCM. Oxygen sensor must generate .15 volt greater than .45 reference to register a cross count in PCM.
PCM compares voltage on circuit No. 1589 to ground voltage on circuit No. 413. O2 sensor ground and PCM ground on terminal B6 must be at same voltage potential with engine running.
