Pcm Code E071, Intermittent Map Sensor: Description

This code test monitors TPS, RPM, MAP, EGR flow and A/C clutch. If MAP changes rapidly and all other parameters remain constant, PCM Code E071 will set. Engine operation requires a large change in manifold pressure must be preceded by a change in throttle angle.
