Output Displays

BCM Output displays are operated as defined under SELECTING OF TESTS  . When troubleshooting a malfunction BCM output cycling can be used to determine if output tests can be actuated regardless of inputs and normal program instructions. Once a test in outputs has been selected, test will display HI and LO for three seconds in each state to indicate command. A brief summary of each BCM output is provided below:

• BO00 No Outputs
  
  BO00 will not display HI or LO as this is a resting spot where no outputs will be cycled
• BO03 Retained Accessory Power
  
  BO03 is LO when relays are on (energized)
• BO07 Park Control
  
  BO07 will cycle Park output to header motor disable relay.
• BO09 Redundant Lighting Relays
  
  BO09 will cycle Redundant Relays. These relays will light low beam headlamps and rear tail lamps. The relays are activated with LO reading.
• BO10 Chime Output
  
  BO10 cycles Chime output to Chime module. The Chimes will not be activated with key ON.
• BO11 Central Door Unlock
  
  BO11 will cycle unlock coil of door lock relay.
• BO12 Theft Deterrent Disable
  
  BO12 cycles disarm output to theft module. The display is LO when disarm is commanded. The engine must be running for this output to cycle.
• BO14 Daytime Running Lights Relay
  
  BO14 will cycle DRL Headlight Relay (if equipped) only with headlamp switch OFF. This relay will light low beams at reduced intensity through DRL resistor.
• BO15 Park Lamp Relay
  
  BO15 will cycle Park Lamp Relay lighting rear parklamps and front side marker lamps. The relay is activated with LO reading.
• BO16 Front Foglamp Relay
  
  BO16 will cycle front foglamp relay lighting right and left front foglamps. The relay is activated with LO reading.
• BO17 Rear Foglamp Relay
  
  BO17 will cycle rear foglamp relay (export only) lighting rear foglamps. The relay is activated with LO reading.
• BO18 Courtesy Lamp Relay
  
  BO18 will cycle courtesy lamp relay lighting courtesy lamps. The relay is activated when BO18 is LO.
• BO19 Turn/Hazard Relay
  
  BO19 will cycle Turn/Hazard relay lighting front and rear turn lamps. The relay is activated when BO19 is LO.
• BO20 Right Turn Relays
  
  BO20 will cycle right turn relay lighting front and rear right turn lamps. The relay is activated when BO20 is LO.
• BO21 Left Turn Relays
  
  BO21 will cycle left turn relay lighting front and rear left turn lamps. The relay is activated when BO21 is LO.
• BO22 HI/LO Beam Relay
  
  BO22 will cycle HI/LO beam relay lighting HI beams. The relay is activated when BO22 is LO.
• BO23 LO Oil Pressure Chime
  
  BO23 will cycle chime output to chime module, The chime is activated when BO23 is LO.
