Code P019, Shorted Fuel Pump Feedback Signal: Action
PCM turns on SERVICE VEHICLE SOON message.
NOTE:
Test numbers refer to numbers on diagnostic chart.
- With ignition on, engine off, fuel pump should not be running and fuel pump feedback (PCM parameter PD10) should be zero volts. If PD10 shows voltage greater than 7 volts, repair circuit No. 120.
- This checks for shorted oil pressure switch.
- This checks for shorted fuel pump relay.
- This checks for voltage on circuit No. 120 at PCM.
- This checks for proper control of fuel pump relay by PCM.
