U1255, Generic Loss Of Class 2 Devices: Notes
NOTE:
To identify wire colors and components on Class 2 serial data line, see appropriate wiring diagram in DATA LINK CONNECTORS article in WIRING DIAGRAMS.
When vehicle is started, BCM requests information from other modules on Class 2 serial data line. DTC U1255 will set when BCM requests information from a particular module, and that module is not "on-line" for 3 consecutive monitoring cycles. DTC U1255 will clear when module providing the requested informations comes back "on-line" or when scan tool is used.
