Left Front Window Inoperative, All Others Operate Normally
- Perform power window system check. See POWER WINDOW SYSTEM CHECK under TROUBLE SHOOTING. After performing system check, go to next step.
- Connect scan tool. Select DATA from left front door module (DDM) DATA list. Operate Left Front Power Window Switch (LFPWS) assembly. If scan tool indicates switch is operating correctly, go to step 4). If scan tool indicates switch is not operating correctly, go to next step.
- Replace Left Front Power Window Switch (LFPWS) assembly. Recheck system operation.
- Disconnect Left Front Power Window Switch (LFPWS) assembly connector. Using DVOM, measure voltage between LFPWS assembly connector terminals "A" (Brown wire) and "B" (Dark Blue wire) while pressing switch in up and down directions. If battery voltage exists in both positions, go to next step. If battery voltage does not exist in both positions, go to step 6).
- Replace left front power window motor. Recheck system operation.
- Disconnect Left Front Door Module (LFDM) 4-pin connector C5 (Black). Using DVOM, measure resistance of Brown wire between left front power window motor connector terminal "A" and LFDM connector C5 terminal "B". If resistance is 0-2 ohms, go to step 8). If resistance is not 0-2 ohms, go to next step.
- Repair open in Brown wire between left front power window motor and LFDM. Recheck system operation.
- Using DVOM, measure resistance of Dark Blue wire between left rear power window motor connector terminal "B" and LFDM connector C5 terminal "C". If resistance is 0-2 ohms, go to step 10). If resistance is not 0-2 ohms, go to next step.
- Repair open in Dark Blue wire between left rear power window motor and LFDM. Recheck system operation.
- Replace LFDM. Recheck system operation.
