Power Window System Check

  1. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Operate each window from power window master switch. Each window should operate quietly and smoothly, with no sticking. Go to next step. If any window does not operate properly, go to appropriate SYSTEM TEST  .
  2. Operate each window from individual window switch. Each window should operate quietly and smoothly, with no sticking. Go to next step. If any window does not operate properly, go to appropriate SYSTEM TEST.
  3. Place passenger lockout switch in LOCK position. Repeat steps 1) and 2). Passenger windows should be inoperative from their individual switches, but operate from power window master switch. Go to next step. If any window does not operate properly, go to appropriate SYSTEM TEST  .
  4. Press left front window express down switch. Left front window should travel down fully without switch being held. If window does not operate properly, go to appropriate SYSTEM TEST  .
