Left Mirror Does Not Move Manually
NOTE:
After repair or component replacement is completed, perform MEMORY SYSTEM CHECK
under TESTING - SYSTEM CHECKS to verify system is operating properly.
- Perform MEMORY SYSTEM CHECK under TESTING - SYSTEM CHECKS. Go to next step.
- Using mirror select switch, select left mirror. Using test light, backprobe between outside mirror switch connector terminals "H" (Orange wire) and "E" (Yellow wire). If test light illuminates, go to next step. If test light does not illuminate, go to step 7).
- Using test light, backprobe between outside mirror switch connector terminals "H" (Orange wire) and "D" (White wire). If test light illuminates, go to next step. If test light does not illuminate, go to step 7).
- Using test light, backprobe between outside mirror switch connector terminal "H" (Orange wire) and Memory Mirror Module (MMM) connector terminal F7 (Yellow wire). If test light illuminates, go to next step. If test light does not illuminate, go to step 8).
- Using test light, backprobe between outside mirror switch connector terminal "H" (Orange wire) and MMM connector terminal E7 (White wire). If test light illuminates, go to next step. If test light does not illuminate, go to step 9).
- Replace Memory Mirror Module (MMM).
- Replace outside mirror switch. See MIRRORS - POWER article.
- Repair open in circuit No. 1517 (Yellow wire) between outside mirror switch and MMM. See WIRING DIAGRAMS .
- Repair open in circuit No. 1512 (White wire) between outside mirror switch and MMM. See WIRING DIAGRAMS .
