Power Mirror Memory Inoperative In One Direction

If outside mirror system check was performed, go to next step. If outside mirror system check was not performed, go to OUTSIDE MIRROR SYSTEM CHECK under SYSTEM TESTS.
Check for open or short in position sensor wiring between appropriate door control module and appropriate outside power mirror:
- Left Horizontal
  
  circuit No. 786 (Light Blue/Black wire).
- Left Vertical
  
  circuit No. 784 (Dark Green/Black wire).
- Right Horizontal
  
  circuit No. 786 (Light Blue/Black wire).
- Right Vertical
  
  circuit No. 784 (Dark Green/Black wire).
If circuit is okay, go to next step. If faulty circuit is found, go to step 4 .
Replace suspect mirror. See POWER MIRRORS - SEVILLE article. After repairs, recheck system operation.
Repair open or short in faulty wiring. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . After repairs, recheck system operation.
