Outside Mirror System Check
NOTE:

- Place mirror select switch in LEFT position. Operate mirror in all directions. Left outside mirror should move as commanded. If mirrors do not function as specified, go to POWER MIRRORS - SEVILLE article for diagnosis and repair.
- Place mirror select switch in RIGHT position. Operate mirror in all directions. Right outside mirror should move as commanded. If mirrors do not function as specified, go to POWER MIRRORS - SEVILLE article for diagnosis and repair.
- Depress No. 1 button on memory function switch. A single chime should be heard and both mirrors should move to position programmed for No. 1 button. Driver's seat, headrest, lumbar support and steering wheel may also adjust to different positions set into memory seat module under No. 1 button. If mirrors do not function as specified, go to POWER MIRROR MEMORY INOPERATIVE IN ANY DIRECTION or POWER MIRROR MEMORY INOPERATIVE IN ONE DIRECTION under SYSTEM TESTS.
- Depress No. 2 button on memory function switch. A single chime should be heard and both mirrors should move to position programmed for No. 2 button. Driver's seat, headrest, lumbar support and steering wheel may also adjust to different positions set into memory seat module under No. 2 button. If mirrors do not function as specified, go to POWER MIRROR MEMORY INOPERATIVE IN ANY DIRECTION or POWER MIRROR MEMORY INOPERATIVE IN ONE DIRECTION under SYSTEM TESTS.
- Turn ignition on. Place gear shift lever in Reverse position. Right outside mirror should move downward approximately 7 degrees. If mirror does not function as specified, go to PARALLEL PARK MODE INOPERATIVE under SYSTEM TESTS.
- Turn ignition on and activate rear window defogger switch. Both mirrors should heat up within 10 minutes. If mirrors do not function as specified, go to HEATED MIRRORS INOPERATIVE under SYSTEM TESTS in REAR WINDOW & MIRROR DEFOGGERS article.
