Test 2: Left Front Window Express Feature Inoperative

  1. If power window system check was performed, go to next step. If power window system check was not performed, perform system check. See SYSTEM CHECK  under TROUBLE SHOOTING.
  2. If left front window regulator motor operates properly from left front window switch, go to step  4 . If left front window regulator motor does not operate properly from left front window switch, go to next step.
  3. Go to TEST 6: LEFT FRONT WINDOW INOPERATIVE  . After repair is complete, go to step  7 .
  4. Program left front window regulator motor. See WINDOW MOTOR  under PROGRAMMING. When programming is complete, go to next step.
  5. If left front window regulator motor express up and down operates properly, system is okay. If left front window regulator motor express up and down does not operate properly, go to next step.
  6. Replace left front window regulator motor. See WINDOW REGULATOR & MOTOR  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. After repair is complete, go to next step.
  7. Connect all connectors and components that were disconnected. Verify left front window express up and down feature operates properly. If left front window express up and down feature does not operate properly, go to step  1 .
