Test 3: Left Rear Window Express Feature Inoperative

  1. If power window system check was performed, go to next step. If power window system check was not performed, perform system check. See SYSTEM CHECK  under TROUBLE SHOOTING.
  2. If left rear window regulator motor operates properly from left front window switch, go to step  4 . If left rear window regulator motor does not operate properly from left front window switch, go to next step.
  3. Go to TEST 8: LEFT REAR WINDOW INOPERATIVE FROM FRONT CONSOLE SWITCH  . After repair is complete, go to step  7 .
  4. Program left rear window regulator motor. See WINDOW MOTOR  under PROGRAMMING. When programming is complete, go to next step.
  5. If left rear window regulator motor express up and down operates properly, system is okay. If left rear window regulator motor express up and down does not operate properly, go to next step.
  6. Replace left rear window regulator motor. See WINDOW REGULATOR & MOTOR  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. After repair is complete, go to next step.
  7. Connect all connectors and components that were disconnected. Verify left rear window express up and down feature operates properly. If left rear window express up and down feature does not operate properly, go to step  1 .
