Window Motor: Notes
WARNING:
Deactivate air bag system before performing any service operation. See appropriate
AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEMS article. DO NOT apply electrical power to any component in door without first deactivating air bag system. Air bag may deploy.
CAUTION:
If window regulator motor must be removed, counterbalance spring must be removed first. Regulator lift arms are under tension from counterbalance spring and can cause serious personal injury if motor is removed without removing spring.
CAUTION:
Ensure power window switch has been disconnected when working inside driver's door. If activated, express down feature allows window to drop down very quickly without stopping which could cause personal injury.
