Body Control System

One central Body Control Module (BCM) or Platform Zone Module (PZM) no longer controls functions of accessories and equipment on 2000 DeVille. Many modules, working together, now control functions of accessories and equipment. These modules make up the body control system. The body control system consists of the Dash Integration Module (DIM), located on the right side of the instrument panel, near the blower motor, the Instrument Panel Module (IPM), located in the center of the instrument panel, above the radio, and the Rear Integration Module (RIM), located at the right rear of the passenger compartment, behind the seat back.
