Test 4: Power Window Lock-Out Function Inoperative
NOTE:
Make sure that passenger window lock-out option is selected as ON in vehicle owner customization menu. If window lock-out selection is OFF, set it to ON and verify fault is still present.
- Connect scan tool. Turn ignition switch to ON position. Observe power window lock-out switch parameter in scan data. Operate switch to both ON and OFF positions. If scan data follows switch, go to next step. If scan data does not follow switch, replace driver door switch. See WINDOW SWITCH under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
- Observe lock-out indicator while operating switch. If indicator cycles with switch, replace door control module. If indicator does not cycle, replace driver door switch assembly. See WINDOW SWITCH under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
