Easy Exit

An easy exit position for seats and steering column may be recorded for each memorized driver position. Select desired driver memory button to recall seat, mirror and steering column positions. Then move seat and steering cloumn to comfortable exit position. Press SET MEMORY button. Within 5 seconds, press EXIT button. When memory switch is pressed a Driver Door Switch Assembly (DDSA) receives memory button input. DDSA then sends a memory position set message over the class 2 serial data line to Memory Seat Module (MSM) and Steering Column Tilt/Telescopic Module (SCCM). MSM and SCCM then record feedback voltages of power seat motor position sensors and steering cloumn position sensors. A single chime will sound to indicate position has been recorded.
