Memory Set

Driver Door Switch Assembly (DDSA) receives memory switch input. DDSA then sends a memory position set request message over the class 2 serial data line. Seat, seatback, lumbar, seat belt tower, mirror and steering column tilt and telescoping positions may be recorded for 2 drivers. When SET MEMORY button is pressed, a chime will sound. Within 5 seconds, either MEMORY-1 or MEMORY-2 button must be pressed. When these inputs are received by DDSA, the feedback voltages from all position sensors is recorded. A single chime will sound to indicate position has been recorded. A class 2 message will also be sent to Driver Door Module (DDM). DDM then records all feedback voltages from all seat position sensors.
