Removal & Installation
- Roll window fully down. Ensure manual lock knob is in unlock position. Insert a flat-blade tool into top service notch to disengage locking clip located at front of manual lock knob and remove. See Fig 1
.
- Remove inside handle bezel from inner door panel by holding inside handle to open position and insert flat-blade tool at front lower corner of bezel. Pry outward on bezel and remove. Remove screw attaching inside door handle to door.
- Use Trim Panel Clip Remover (J36796) to release 8 retainers around outside edges of door trim panel. See Fig 2
. Slide door trim panel upward to remove. Disconnect the door trim panel electrical connector.
- Using a flat-blade tool, release tabs retaining memory seat switch to door panel. Carefully peel the sound deadener material from door panel to access memory seat switch electrical connector. Disconnect electrical connector and remove memory seat switch from door panel. To install, reverse removal procedure.
