Window UPSTOP Adjustment
NOTE:
Window upstop adjuster are color coded. Front upstop adjuster is Neutral, and rear is Black. Adjuster head is 0.23 " (6 mm). One full turn equals 0.04 " (one mm) of glass movement. While facing door inner panel, a clockwise rotation moves window up or counterclockwise rotation moves window down. Lower window slightly in order to relieve pressure before moving any adjusters.
- Remove roof rail weatherstrip. Insert a one inch (2.6 cm) roll of masking tape in weatherstrip retainer assembly. Place window in full UP position and close door.
- Measure gap between edge of weatherstrip retainer assembly and top edge of window. See Fig 1 . If gap is not within specifications, determine necessary amount of movement for assembly and adjust upstops as necessary.
- Install roof rail weatherstrip. Install watershield and speaker assembly to door panel trim. Install door trim panel.
