Synchronizing Transmitters

When transmitters are out of synchronization, all buttons except fuel door release will be inoperative. Transmitters need to be synchronized if buttons have been pushed 256 times out of range of receiver, RKE module is replaced or resynchronization procedure is performed outside range of receiver.

To synchronize transmitters after battery replacement, press and hold LOCK and UNLOCK buttons simultaneously for seven seconds. All doors lock and unlock to indicate synchronization is complete. Verify RKE system operation.
