Test F: Trunk Release Inoperative With Transmitter
- Perform DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK under DIAGNOSTIC TESTS. If system check has been performed, go to next step.
- Depress instrument panel mounted rear compartment lid release switch. If rear compartment lid release functions properly, go to next step. If rear compartment lid release functions do not function properly, see POWER TRUNK & FUEL DOOR RELEASE - SEVILLE article.
- Check rear compartment release function with second or known good transmitter. If rear compartment lid release functions properly, go to next step. If rear compartment lid release functions do not function properly, go to step 5 .
- Replace faulty transmitter. After replacement, transmitter must be programmed. See TRANSMITTER PROGRAMMING under PROGRAMMING.
- Replace Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) module. See REMOTE KEYLESS ENTRY MODULE under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
