Diagnostic Procedure

  1. Perform DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK  under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM. Go to next step.
  2. Turn ignition switch to ON position. Clear any DTCs. Turn ignition switch to OFF then ON position. If DTC B1656 still exists, go to next step. If DTC B1656 does not exist, go to step  1 .
  3. Replace Driver Door Module (DDM). See DOOR MODULE  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. After repairs, go to next step.
  4. Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Reconnect or install all components and connectors. Turn ignition switch to ON position. Clear any DTCs. Perform door control system check. See SYSTEM CHECK  under TROUBLE SHOOTING.
