Charge Indicator Light Always On

  1. Turn ignition off. Turn ignition on, engine off. Observe charge indicator light on instrument cluster. If charge indicator light does not turn on during bulb check, and then turn off, go to next step. If charge indicator light turns on during bulb check, and then turns off, problem is intermittent.
  2. Replace instrument cluster. See appropriate INSTRUMENT PANELS article in ACCESSORIES & EQUIPMENT.
  3. Operate system to verify repair.
