Removal & Installation

  1. Raise and support vehicle. Remove left front wheel and left front splash guard. Remove left air injection pump to gain access to Electronic Brake Control Module (EBCM). See Figure .
  2. Rotate EBCM connector tab up to unlocked position. Remove connector position assurance from EBCM connector and disconnect. Disconnect Brake Pressure Modulator Valve (BPMV) pump motor connector from bottom of EBCM.
  3. Remove 6 screws attaching EBCM to BPMV and separate EBCM from BRMV. See Fig 1 . To install, reverse removal procedure.
