Electronic Brake Control Module: Removal
- Electronic Brake Control Module (EBCM) is mounted in lower left side of engine compartment. Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove air cleaner housing from engine compartment.
- Pull out lock tab from EBCM harness connector and disconnect connector. Remove 4 EBCM-to-Brake Pressure Modulator Valve (BPMV) screws. Using care so as not to damage seal and solenoid valves, pull EBCM and separate from BPMV.
