STOPLAMP Switch: Installation

To install, pull actuating pin and retaining collar out of housing about 2/3" to fully extend actuating pin. See Figure . Connect stoplamp switch harness connector. Pull up on brake pedal to ease installation of stoplamp switch. Insert stoplamp switch into bracket until switch locking tabs snap securely in place. Release brake pedal and allow it to settle to non-applied position. This will adjust actuator pin to proper position. Install floor outlet duct and insulator panel.
