Power Window System: Description

A permanent-magnet motor operates each power window. Each motor raises and lowers window when voltage is supplied by door module. Motor direction depends on polarity of supply voltage. Switches control supply voltage polarity.

Following components are used to control power windows:

Driver Door Module (DDM).
Passenger Front Door Module (PDM).
Left Rear Door Module (LRDM).
Right Rear Door Module (RRDM).
Driver Door Switch Assembly (DDSA).
Right front power window switch.
Left rear power window switch.
Right rear power window switch.
Left front power window motor.
Right front power window motor.
Left rear power window motor.
Right rear power window motor.
Class 2 serial data link.
PWR WDO circuit breaker.
