Removal & Installation: Generator: Removal
- Disconnect the battery negative cable. Remove the drive belt. Remove the engine cooling fans.
- Disconnect the wiring harness connector from the generator. Reposition the protective boot from the generator output BAT terminal for access. Remove the generator output BAT terminal nut and disconnect the positive lead from the generator. See Fig 1
.
- Loosen the lower generator bolt. Remove the generator bolts from the generator. Remove the generator from the vehicle. See Figure
