Window Motor Regulator: Installation

  1. Install window motor into door.
  2. Locate captured fasteners (2) into keyhole slots. See Figure .
  3. Install remaining window motor fasteners. Tight fasteners to 80 INCH lbs (9 N.m).
  4. Connect window motor harness connector.
  5. Carefully raise window regulator clamps to full up position, engaging window.
  6. Remove tape from window.
    7. NOTE: Ensure window is properly adjusted.
  7. Complete the following to properly adjust window:
    • Lower window to about 2".
    • Seat window fully rearward against center pillar.
    • Adjust window forward 5/64-1/8" (2-3 mm).
    • Raise window to full up position.
  8. Set glass with clamp fasteners. Tighten window clamp fasteners to 93 INCH lbs (10.5 N.m).
  9. Disconnect window switch and door module harness connectors.
  10. Install water deflector.
  11. Install door module.
  12. Install door trim panel.
  13. Perform window motor programming procedure. See WINDOW MOTOR - EXPRESS MODE  under PROGRAMMING.
