Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the rear shelf panel. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - REAR WINDOW SHELF (WITHOUT SUNSHADE) or TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - REAR WINDOW SHELF (WITH SUNSHADE) in Interior Trim.
  2. Remove the rear shelf panel reinforcement. Refer to SHELF CARRIER REPLACEMENT - REAR in Interior Trim.
  3. Remove the fastener (2) that retains the child tether anchor (1) that is being serviced.
  4. Remove the child tether anchor (1) from the vehicle.
