Installation Procedure

    IMPORTANT:
    • Inspect the MAP sensor seal for damage. Replace the seal if necessary.
    • Lightly coat the MAP sensor seal with clean engine oil before installing the sensor.
  1. Install the MAP sensor. Push down the sensor in order to engage the retainer.

  2. Connect the MAP sensor harness connector.
  3. Install the fuel injector sight shield. Refer to Fuel Injector Sight Shield Replacement in Engine Mechanical - 5.7L.
