Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the fuel injector sight shield. Refer to Fuel Injector Sight Shield Replacement in Engine Mechanical - 5.7L.
  2. Disconnect the MAP sensor electrical connector.

  3. Pull the MAP sensor forward in order to release the sensor from the retainer.
  4. Lift the MAP sensor upward.
