Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the left closeout/insulator panel replacement. Refer to Closeout/Insulator Panel Replacement - Left in instrument Panel, Gauges, and Console.
  2. Remove the clip (2) from the pedal (3).
  3. Remove the plastic retainer from inside the pedal.
  4. Remove the accelerator control cable (1) from the accelerator controls pedal by pulling straight out and up towards the top of the accelerator controls pedal.
  5. Remove the accelerator controls pedal from the brake and accelerator controls pedal assembly.
