Removal Procedure

Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
Remove the retaining screws from the front portion of the left front wheel well/splash shield.
Lower the splash shield far enough to gain access to the secondary air injection (AIR) pump (2).
Remove the retaining clamp from the pump crossover hose (1).
Remove the ties retaining the AIR crossover pipe to the engine cradle.

Loosen and lower the pinch clamp connecting the AIR crossover pipe/hose (2) to the bank 1 intermediate pipe/hose (1).
Remove the AIR crossover pipe/hose.
