Setup for Component Replacement

The replacement of some components will require a setup procedure for complete repair.
If any of the following components are replaced, a CKP Variation Learn Procedure must be performed. Refer to Crankshaft Position System Variation Learn for the V6, Crankshaft Position System Variation Learn for the V8, or Crankshaft Position System Variation Learn for the Hybrid.
- Engine replacement
- Any engine repair that disturbs the crankshaft position (CKP) sensor or its relationship with the crankshaft reluctor wheel
- CKP sensor
If the throttle body is replaced, a Throttle Learn procedure must be performed. Refer to Throttle/Idle Learn for the V6, Throttle/Idle Learn for the V8, or Throttle/Idle Learn for the Hybrid.
