Installation Procedure

    Fig 1: Air Cleaner Housing Cover

  1. Install the new air filter element (2).
  2. Assemble the air cleaner cover (1) to the air cleaner housing (3).
    3. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  3. Install the air cleaner housing cover screws.

    Tighten:  Tighten the air cleaner housing cover screws to 3 N.m (27 lb in).

  4. Install the air cleaner housing to the vehicle. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement .
