Preliminary Procedure Raise the Vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle Remove the bumper fascia. Refer to Rear Bumper Fascia Replacement (All Utility, Cadillac ESV) or Rear Bumper Fascia Replacement (Avalanche, Cadillac EXT) .
1	Side Object Sensor Bracket Nuts (Qty: 3) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten:: 6 N.m(53 lb in)
2	Side Object Sensor Bracket Procedure: Disconnect the electrical connectors.

CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .

Tighten:: 6 N.m(53 lb in)
