Installation Procedure

Assemble the fuel system as follows:

1. Install the fuel injectors and fuel rail. Refer to Fuel Injector and Fuel Rail Replacement .
2. Install the fuel module assemblies. Refer to Primary Fuel Tank Module Replacement  and Secondary Fuel Tank Module Replacement .
3. Install the fuel filter. Refer to Fuel Filter Replacement .
4. Connect the fuel line to the fuel rail. Refer to Metal Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
5. Install the fuel fill pipe cap.
6. Check the fuel system for leaks.
7. Install the engine sight shield. Refer to Intake Manifold Sight Shield Replacement .
